The Beach Lounge is the result of a collaboration between Alexander Rose and UK based designer, Carsten Astheimer.
The unique difference of this collection is the ultra-comfortable, water proof cushions and the way in which they attach to the perforated mesh frames, using toggles to create a crafted feel. Comfort, versatility and fuctionality combine to make the Beach Lounge perfect for modern outdoor living.

Aluminium Frames
The aluminium frames are welded by hand and then finished in a superior quality powder coating to protect against corrosion. Frame choices are available in bold flint or cool shell colours, and table tops come in your choice of premium Roble, a slatted aluminium or durable HPL in sand or grey pebble colours to match the frames.
Aluminium frames come with a 5 year warranty.
Roble
Roble (Amburana Cearensis) is a very strong hardwood with light yellow colouring. Featuring a smooth lustre and texture with a closely interlocked grain, Roble has excellent machining and turning qualities, finishes and polishes well. If left untreated Roble will mellow down to a silver grey appearance. Alexander Rose’s Roble is FSC® certified and comes from Bolivia. Roble features strength comparable to that of Teak, with a durability of up to 25 years making this an ideal choice for making high quality wooden garden furniture.
Roble wood comes with a 10 year warranty.
Timber Care
Alexander Rose Manufactures Garden furniture that will last for many years, but over time the natural weathering process will begin as evaporation of natural oils and minerals in the wood begins from exposure to the elements. Cracks and splits can appear in the wood particularly on the end grain. The drier the wood, the more cracks will appear.
Alexander Rose timber furniture is designed with this in mind and its strength and durability will remain unaffected. Wooden furniture can be treated with Alexander Rose’s specially formulated care products to enhance the natural look of the wood. Alternatively the wood surfaces can be left and will eventually turn an attractive mellow silver grey, and should be occasionally cleaned with soapy water.
Looking after Roble furniture
Alexander Rose offer two products to keep your Roble furniture in its prime depending on the results you are trying to achieve.
The Water-Based Cleaner (GT2) cleans and brightens weathered timbers in one simple step and is designed specifically for the restoration of discoloured aging timber. When applied to wet furniture the Timber Cleaner removes atmospheric dirt that builds up over time with ease.
The Alexander Rose Water-Based Timber Protector (GT3) has been formulated to nourish and even out the appearance of your timber providing you with a healthier and more uniformed piece of garden furniture. Environmentally friendly this protector offers long lasting protection.
