This rubs real good for beef!. It's delicious!. Use sparingly as its got quite a high pepper content so can be quite hot if you overdo it, try it on brisket and beef ribs, mmm!!!!!
Smothered this on a beef brisket and smoked with hickory and apple wood for 12 hours following dr evils technique on you tube at riverside BBQ centre. Good flavour, pepper is dominant but perfect on beef. This is my favourite rub so far.
Tried the Holy Cow rub at the weekend as recommended by Russel. Cooked 2 sirloin steaks on a Weber Kettle one steak with the rub one without to compare. Put the rub on 20 mins before cooking. Absoultly fantastic results so much so that the steak without the rub tasted bland in comparison. Will definatly be regularly using the rub.
