Weber® Gas BBQ

Weber Gas BBQ 10 year warranty

With a 10-year limited warranty, the iconic Weber® Spirit®, Genesis® and Summit® gas barbecues are regarded as among the best in the world due to their design and functionality as well as having a reputation for being built with the highest quality parts.

Easy to ignite, easy to control and just as importantly, easy to clean a Weber® gas barbecue ensures the temperature remains stable throughout the duration of the cook.

A flick of a switch is all it takes to ignite, and within minutes the cooking grates are hot enough to cook on. No messing around with firelighters and starter fluid with a Weber®.

All Weber® gas barbecues come with Flavorizer® Bars so you still get the rich flavours that you would with associate with charcoal, contrary to popular belief. Three or more burners give the cook the convenience of direct or indirect cooking (see below) allowing for a variety of cooking techniques to be used for different types of dishes.

Despite having the collection trimmed for 2017 the Weber® Spirit® Classic and Weber® Spirit® Original are a good way to start gas barbecuing. Whether you're using a 2-burner Weber® Spirit® Classic E-210, Black or a 3-burner Weber® Spirit® Original E-320 GBS®, Black with side burner all Weber® Spirit® BBQs come with a good reputation.

Combining 30 years of experience with the latest gas technology the Weber® Genesis® II and Weber® Genesis® II LX ranges are the new kids on the block for 2017.

With the introduction of a new fail-safe electronic ignition, high performance burners, a new grease management system and some design updates the Weber® Genesis® II and Weber® Genesis® II LX state-of-the-art barbecues are simply game changers.

With 13 new models across the Genesis® range choosing which one is right for you may seem a bit daunting. Whether you're led by the maximum cm² cooking area, budget or the choice between simply having a cupboard underneath or not, there is a Weber® Genesis® II for every gas cooking enthusiast.

Both the Weber® Genesis® II and Weber® Genesis® II LX offer 2, 3, 4 and 6 burner options and all come with a GS4 High Performance Grilling System, Electronic Ignition System and High Performance Burners.

The main differences between the Weber® Genesis® II and the Weber® Genesis® II LX is that all of the LX barbecues come with High+ sear burners on top of each burner to provide an extra blast of heat to help seal your meat and a closed cart below the cook box.

Be it the smaller Weber® Genesis® II E-210 GBS® Black or the larger Weber® Genesis® II LX S-640 GBS® SS, all Weber® Genesis® II and Genesis® II LX barbecues come with a Weber® porcelain-enamelled cast iron Gourmet BBQ System® cooking grate to give you that extra cooking versatility.

Although previously available nationwide, the top-of-the-range Weber® Summit® E-670 GBS® Black and Weber® Summit® S-670 GBS® SS are now exclusive to Weber® World Stores so if you want to see what beautiful multi-functional barbecues they are be sure to visit our showroom.

Where possible and depending on the time your order is placed, we ship our Weber® gas barbecues the very next working day to get you up and grilling as soon as possible! However, due to the size and weight of these BBQs they get delivered on a pallet and will need to be signed for. Please make sure someone is at home to take receipt of it and have the means to dispose of the pallet.

Weber Flavourizer Bars

What are Flavorizer® Bars?

Found on all Weber® Gas BBQs, the patented Flavorizer® Bars are angular slats of stainless steel or porcelain coated steel that sit over the burner pipes protecting them from dripping fats and juices, whilst incinerating them for the most part on contact to recycle the lost flavours and moisture. They also act to better dissipate heats so hotspots do not occur just above the burners making consistent cooking easier.

Because of the intense heat changes and abuse from repeated and regular cleaning, the Flavorizer® Bars are the element you are most likely to replace during the life of your barbecue. We stock replacement Flavorizer® Bars in both stainless steel and durable porcelain-enamel for Genesis® and Spirit® Weber® barbecues in our Flavorizer Bars Category.

Direct and Indirect cooking on you Weber® Gas BBQ

Key to the success of your barbecued food is Weber's legacy to promote barbecueing with the lid on, helping to reduce heat and moisture loss that can lead to uneven cooking and below-par results. Thanks to the internal design and exterior lid-mounted thermometers on all Weber® gas barbecues, Weber® owners up and down the country wax lyrical about their latest bbq results.

Direct grilling on a Weber Gas BBQ Weber® Gas Barbecue - Direct Cooking

Grilling with a direct heat source is the most common technique among the experienced and inexperienced alike because of its speed and effectiveness for cooking the bulk of barbecue dishes. Ideal for meats and veg with a relatively short cooking time such as burgers, sausages and chicken pieces, an intense heat is applied from below which sears the meat on one side which can then be flipped over to cook the other leaving no rawness in the middle. Ensure you fully preheat your barbecue and food is placed directly above the burners on full power. Try only lifting the lid to flip the meat and check for doneness at the end of the suggested cooking period.

Indirect grilling on a Weber Gas BarbecueWeber® Gas Barbecues - Indirect Cooking

Indirect grilling (also known as roasting) works similar to your kitchen oven allowing you to thoroughly cook large joints of meat and full poultry because it is the air convecting around the meat that heats up rather than the meat directly. Heat has time to penetrate right through the meat rather than singeing the outer layer. Simply turn off half the burners (or the burners directly below the food) once the bbq has preheated and rest the meat in a Weber® Rib / Roast Holder if available so that air can fully circulate the elevated food.

By placing a Weber® Large Drip Tray below, the juices collect and can be reused in sauces and also save on clean up time! (psst, add water to the drip tray to regulate temperature during longer cooking periods which will help keep the meat moist and prevent the juices burning). Try only lifting the lid to baste the meat and check for doneness at the end of the suggested cooking period.
