Judt love this Bbq, superquick delivery, and love the instruction video, great peice and a wonderful variety of items, will be back for more
Given the sale at Riverside, I decided it was time to 'upgrade' from my faithful Weber 47cm to the 57cm model. The smaller one has served me well (and still has years of life left in it) but having greater ambitions than the 47 can easily accommodate, I figured it made sense to pick up the larger model; one could buy extra bits and bobs for the 47, but by the time you add it all up you've practically spent as much as the new model, and you're still left with a small grill. I'd have been happy with the standard 57cm kettle, but the sale price on the Master-Touch GBS was too good to miss. Apart from the larger grill size, the big benefits of the 57 over the 47 include the hinged grill for adding new charcoal for long, low and slow indirect cooking or wood for smoking; the added grill height to save your lower back; the Gourmet Barbecue System (GBS) with a central round grill that can be removed and replaced with various cooking utensils, from a pizza stone to a beer can chicken roaster; and a cleaning system in the bottom of the kettle that beats the pants off the 47. Even having used it for only 30 minutes on Christmas Eve, I can report it works brilliantly, as per any Weber product I've owned. I suppose my only complaint is that the chromed legs feel really flimsy in your hand, but once in place the barbecue feels solid enough. The enamel finish is (again, as per Weber) excellent, and it was easily assembled in about 30-45 minutes. Looking forward to the spring and summer months!
Seems to be a quality drum and well constructed with the exception of the wheels, seem flimsy but most are with push nuts. Not a big issue tho as overall everything else seems great.
Really happy with this new Griller, great built griller! Cant wait for the summer to come!
Amazing bbq, best quality and amazing price
Great for large family BBQ
Brilliant bb. Much better than gas. Plenty of room for food. Impressed with temperatures control, usually not so good on charcoal bbqs8
A very impressive piece of equipment that was simple to assemble and performs very well.
Fantastic BBQ, easy to build and easy to use. Its really large and so can cook for a lot of people. Turned in to a smoker too and it was quite easy with that. Would recommend if you like to BBQ.
Love this BBQ. great for slow roasting!
easy to build. Has my last weber Kettle for 10 years.
What a lovely bbq. Fairly easy to put together (thanks to watching Riversides "how to" guide on YouTube) Everything fits and feels like it will last for years! Just waiting for the snow to melt so I can get outside and christen it with a decent steak.
Well built , plenty off Add ons ,, great buy ,, really pleased with the purchase
Just what we ordered. Weber,s are the best. Forget gas BBQ,s they are glorified ovens. I've cooked everything on my own including cake. Just bought this for my son and he loves it
The BBQ was easy to assemble although I did what I think several other customers have done and didn't position the wheels opposite the handle side when assembling the legs. This isn't specified in the instructions. Quickly remedied though. There is a flaw in the enammelling on the lid which I expect will be rectified ( I only received the BBQ yesterday) I used the BBQ to cook beer can chicken yesterday, something that I've cooked many times on my gas BBQ. What a difference this charcoal kettle made to the flavour - the chicken was moist and the herbs i used to rub over the chicken gave flavour to the chicken rather than just charring. I made gravy with the juices - WOW! the smokey flavour of the gravy was amazing - the whole family commented how great it was. I usually BBQ our whole turkey on the gas BBQ and am really looking forward to cooking it on this ketle this Christmas. I built a charcoal smoker last year from old damaged beer kegs - don't think i need it now!
Having caught the Weber bug earlier in the year with a Smokey Mountain water smoker, I wanted a replacement for my elderly drum BBQ that I bought from Homebase about 10 years ago. The build and quality of this are incomparable. Thick, heavy steel with a strong enamel coating. I can already tell that this will be my mainstay charcoal grill for 20+ years. The ash catcher is a neat touch, and makes cleaning up a piece of cake. I'm just annoyed that I didn't buy it earlier!
easy to build, high quality, good results
Great I'd advise anyone to get one
Only used once so far but lovely BBQ with great cooking options tonplease the largest of families or groups of friends
Easy to put together- probably around 20 minutes if that, looks great, plenty of room to cook for 4-6 people in one go, went for the grey and although it's a great colour, it really shows up all finger marks and handprints so that will get annoying
Excellent BBQ, the build quality is magnificent
Looking good! Great quality! I hosted a Bbq for 12 ppl. No problem to get the party going. Easy to clean up in the end.
Holds heat very well, only criticism is that it could have sturdier legs
Delivery spot on
I'm really pleased with the Weber Master Touch. It's solidly built, took about 30 minutes to put together and looks great. Due to the material used in construction I find it easier to control the heat with the Weber than any previous charcoal barbecue. Also, if you are cooking "low 'n' slow" you can keep a fairly constant low temperature just by adding 4 - 6 briquettes each hour. I'm still learning (and making some mistakes along the way) but the Weber is a joy to use and even my mistakes are fairly tasty!
Sturdy product, some assembly required but good instructions and very happy with choice
If you're thinking of getting one. Don't think just do. They are brilliant
