To be honest I would give it 5 stars just for the lid alone - the fact that you can open it without fear of dropping it on the floor or burning yourself whilst juggling it onto the hook is a revelation!!! And it's so lightweight too...And the lid opens to an angle rather than 90 degrees (ideal for us vertically challenged people who would normally have to be on tip-toes). Bit pricey but amazingly better than the next model down....in my opinion
Used first time, cooked everything to perfection, no hot spots!
Solidly built, easy to construct and made to last. This is easily the best barbecue I've owned and it makes barbecuing your food a doddle.
Brilliant easy to use and build
Old gas Outback 3 burner now in the tip. This Weber BBQ just gives so many options for a BBQ, having never used indirect cooking I can safely say it is the way to go, whole chicken cooked on this (beer can method) with Chicken Roaster and did not disappoint. Excited to try low, slow smoking. Excellent product.
The Weber takes bbq to the next level, I thought bbq was burnt burgers and sausages, how wrong was I till I cooked on the Weber, just wow
Instructions for assembly were very easy to follow. Very pleased with the range of capabilities the BBQ has. Concerned about the lid sealing correctly for smoking but so far so good.
Awesome BBQ not cheap but worth every penny
As a long-term Smokey Joe user, this is a big step up for me. We have used it for both grilling and indirect slow cooking and the results have been excellent. I like the versatile configuration of grill, sear plate, lift-up side grates etc. Also the coal trays for indirect cooking. Ash disposal is easy - and you don't get ash blow-back on windy days! And the hinged lid is excellent. Briquettes or lump wood? I've found that there are too many small pieces of lump wood in those bags that just fall straight through the grate into the ash tray.
A quality product, highly recommended
Assembly not to bad already cooked a beer can chicken and also used the cast iron sear grate. Nice piece of kit.
Delighted with my new Weber and looking forward to using it Summer and Winter. Still retaining my original Weber for cooking extras when family are here.
I've had a 57cm Weber BBQ for around 7 years and it is a great piece of kit. Having purchased the latest model I can say that there are many improvements - hinged lid, better ash hole size and layout on the bottom, a proper ash trapper and the temperature gauge on the lid. All in all a superb BBQ and great service from Riverside. Thanks :)
Brilliant BBQ. Well worth the money!
Excellent assembly instructions & initial bbq very promising
Great BBQ and great design
Replaced my old weber kettle didn't think it could be so much better. Used the smoker and griddle so far. Great Pulled Pork and Steaks. Very good quality so should last for years like my last one. A Tip....Buy the grill removing tool. Makes life so much easier.
