  • When our Finance supplier, Close Brothers, share information with us about the product you have purchased.  
  • When you use our car parks and shops which have CCTV systems operated for the security of both customers and staff. These systems may record your image during your visit.

What personal information do we collect?

We collect the following:

And the following if you have an account with us:

  • Purchase History
    • Your password will be encrypted for your security by SSL.
  • Details of your interactions with us via email, telephone or in-store purchases.

Example: Notes, Complaints, wish lists, shopping baskets, web pages visited, a method of contact into us.

  • Identification Documents will include details of your full name, date of birth, address and image. Your passport will also include your place of birth, nationality and gender.

Example: Driver’s License or Passport. When applying for finance your ID may be required.

  • Details of your visits to our websites, and which site referred you to us.

  • Personal details which help us to recommend items of interest.

For email marketing, your personal data is only used when you opt-in either online, via telephone or in-store. We have a double opt-in where you will need to confirm your request. You can always opt-out at any point.

We also collect information if you have clicked on any of our advertisements. Why do we collect your personal information?

To give our customers the best customer experience possible, we need to understand our customers and their profiles. This can be achieved by collecting data and combining the data from you.

We use the data to be able to offer you promotions, products and services of relevance.

We do this in our agreement with you in providing the best service possible and how we can improve our services on how you were dealt with for future interaction.

To protect our customers, staff, premises, assets and visitors, we have CCTV in our store and car park. This records images and we do this to protect our legitimate business interests.

To be able to process payments, prevent fraudulent transactional and criminal activity. This is done on the lawful basis for our business. Which also helps protect our customers against fraud.

As soon as we discover any type of criminal activity or alleged criminal activity through any means of our monitoring which includes CCTV, Fraud Monitoring and Suspicious Transaction Monitoring, we will process this data for preventing and detecting unlawful acts.  Our aim is to protect the individuals we interact with daily from any criminal activities.

We will use your personal data, preferences and order transaction history to keep you informed by email, web, telephone and at our store, if we have any special offers, products, promotions, prize draws and events, only with your consent.
